Diego “Daeo” Estolano
Art director, senior designer, illustrator and overall Swiss Army knife of creative design, specializing in apparel, collectibles, and packaging, with experience at Funko and Super7. Originally from San Diego, I’ve lived and worked in Phoenix, San Francisco, New York City, and now Jersey City, bringing a broad perspective to every project. A lifelong love of animation led me to a bachelor’s degree in Media Arts & Animation and early work drawing live caricatures at SeaWorld before designing and illustrating for a streetwear startup. I spent a great part of my career focused on apparel and art direction at Funko, where I also gained years of experience in licensing and product development. Projects ranged from custom packaging, to conceptualizing all new product lines. Most recently, as Senior Designer at Super7, I’ve focused on crafting thoughtful, collector-focused packaging with consumer experience in mind. Outside of work, my hobbies—retro gaming, toys, art, and especially traveling with my wife and our two Pomeranians—blur naturally into the things that inspire my creative work.
